Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager manages and verifies all incoming and outgoing freight from the Cherokee Warehouse. This positon is responsible for managing the inventory of all finished goods, rework, packaging, ingredients, and SI items at the warehouse and maintains accurate data entry in warehouse management system, setting up warehouse transfers in the system, month end inventory counts, coordinates with Logistics on timing, and verifies the reconciliation for accuracy between shipment and receipt into the warehouse of finished goods. The Warehouse Manager supervises a warehouse staff of 15-20 coworkers and schedules the team to ensure operational efficiency.

Required:
• Associate’s degree in related field
• 10+ years’ previous warehouse, shipping and receiving experience
• 5+ years’ previous supervisory experience
• Forklift experience
• Active listening: Gives full attention to what other people are saying and takes time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate
• Ability to follow all safety, quality policies and procedures
• Ability to read: understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
• Understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand as appropriate for the needs of the audience
• Ability to see details at close range
• Ability to recognize that there is a problem at hand
• Control Precision: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without distractions
• Mathematical skills: General Arithmetic/Basic Algebra/Percentages/Fractions
• Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point

Equipment:
• Hearing protection/ Safety glasses
• Material and Equipment handling: forklift, shrink wrapper, dock levelers, trailer restraints and safety procedures

• Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and any other programs that support the SQF system or any 3rd party audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
