The City of Sioux Center is now accepting applications for the position of Accounting Clerk. The City will accept applications until the position is filled. The City of Sioux Center is an EOE.

Desired Qualifications:

Position requires manual dexterity in the use of various kinds of office equipment. Ability to work with deadlines within a city government setting. Sight correctable to 20/20. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in general office setting.


Principal duties will be utility billing, accounts payable and payroll. The position requires good public relation skills and ability to work with deadlines.

Location: Sioux Center

Experience: Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education: Associate’s Degree in business or accounting.
